Go steady with me

Actually, really amazing and lovely:

Realised how much of a freaking babe Hayley Mary from the Jezabels is, plus how nice their music is.

Getting funky with Jonathan Boulet, lovely man, lovely music, every single member of the band was a babe. One resembled the boyf, a little bit of amusement, so much love right there.
Getting felt up by a 12 year old in Illy, heaps classy Lydia. But the music was so great I didn't mind at all. The 12 year old had blonde surfy hair after all.
Suprised by the pure ghetto emanating from KillaQueenz, it could make a brethren go for a booty shake, deadset.Screamed with British India, fell utterly in love with them and their Nirvana cover. Off to buy their beautiful new album tomorrow.

Let down by Miami Horror, expected far more.
Had my mind well and truly blown by The Only, wish I saw the entirety of their set. Really amazing stuff, plus they remixed Yolanda Be Cool, yes.
Nearly teared up in Tegan and Sara, due to their sheer musical greatness and how they manage to consistently look effortlessly amazingly attractive. Sang every word with the boy standing next to me.

Underwhelmed by Bag Raiders; waiting for an epic drop that never came, plus it was all stuff I'd heard before. They did another remix of Yolanda Be Cool, not half as good as the Only.
Hung around being cold and checking out the abundance of gross people for an hour, bought a Tegan and Sara T-shirt which I've hardly taken off since. Met some lovely boys who were trying to convince us they were neuro-surgeons, all true I'm sure. Got a picture with the babes from Jonathan Boulet; I was smiling like an insane person, I'm sure of it.
Experienced an epiphany while watching Vampire Weekend. Sang along to the first half whilst cuddling a pretty boy called Ben (possibly gay, which made him even more lovely, plus he knew all the lyrics to Vampire Weekend). And then, spent the second half kissing and dancing with and discussing British India, Nirvana, masculinity and other lovely things with the most beautiful boy I've seen in quite some time.

Was so cold, possibly got pneumonia, have the nastiest cough, was wheezing lots, runniest and sorest nose, irritated by so many people, lived off icy water and no doze for the entire day, hallucinations, dislocations, realisations. All in all, possibly the best weekend of my life so far.

Also, from being surrounded by such a multitude of lovely people for an entire day I've decided that I'm well and truly done with you. 'us' is non-existent for me anymore, and it makes me so wildly happy that I can think about you and not feel anything.

x
